Is it time for a change?

The question mark is purely rhetorical. yes indeed. And we are already late... well i got to say in israel i wonder if we re not in advance comparing to so many other countries around us....

Remember the "so frenchy so tasty' week? while i was filming there, some of the chefs were telling me they were thinking more and more about vegan alternatives on their menu. why so? "8% of the population in israel is vegetarian. i didn't say vegan, but vegetarian. when you think about it, it is huge...

on the other hand, we don't find yet so many improvised recepees by the local chefs except in 'pastel' where the french chef thibault berra makes a delicious Tempeh*.

in cubes or in filet, with tehina, tofu remains the single option in vegan friendly restaurants around town...

couple of facts:

-Each served beef costs over 4500 liters of water - Each served chicken  about 1250 liters of water whereas one complete vegan meal is only around 370 liters of water. even this 370 liters scares me but i guess it's the water falling from the sky.

(I got more coming, i'll update very soon...)
