Text & film:  Solal Fakiel

Address:  99 allenby street

Status: Open everyday from 7pm

Someone has to say it: Tailor Made was the most successful bar in Tel Aviv in 2013.

At least atmosphere wise. The design, from the original tiles in the alley outside to the large photographies and prints framed in the ceiling, the menu pleases everybody from flesh-eaters to vegans. The cocktails are delicious and a large variety of Israeli and foreign wines is suggested, the light, the crowd... except i guess the waiting line outside. but we can't blame success....

It's owned by a 'collective' of partners, friends already owning few bars in tlv... That's usually how it goes in israel when people try to open a bar or a restaurant, For the music, the vibe, the girls and the boys i let you discover by yourself...

extra story: Before it became the tailor made, their used to be a famous restaurant, some even say an establishment:"Stefan Brown".

Stefan Brown was originally a famous tailor working for the high society and politicians. when he announced he was gay (in the 90's), his customers turned their back on him and he later opened his restaurant.

Favorite food: Baby coliflower or the risotto balls, babu aspargus... There are cool stuff for the flesh-eaters but since i'm vegetarian becoming a vegan, i'd rather not encourage this kind of behaviour.
