Untay

Boaz aka Untay (for un-tie) takes streetart to every field of creativity.

Usually Acting solo around the city, with his wide range of characters and statements. Identifaible by the leaks, the layers upon layers, the splashes... or other random stories inspired on the moment.   Untay delivers friendly (or not) messages to those who care to challenge their brain few seconds while passing by his pieces...He acts discret, sometimes collaborates with friends. he's part of the leading' scene.. evolves around the east side of tel aviv (close to where he lives and works, that's why you can find a lot of his stuff around "hamasger street", playing in abandoned building not often accessible to walkers but Untay thinks about the others as well, those working in "the grey zone" as he likes to define it, bored in their office who could enjoy some entertainment by looking through the window... the lonely wanderers or the homeless... leaving them some sort of "company"...

In his latest series: "Soul of a citizen", Untay spreads and hangs bandanas to remind that the protest in Israel in 2011 demanding social justice and a lower cost of living is not quite over and people are still fighting.
